This First Aid Awareness e-learning course is free of charge and is designed for anyone with an interest in gaining knowledge around basic first aid awareness. You are able to complete this course in English or Welsh.
Why is first aid awareness important?
First aid awareness is essential because it provides you with the skills needed to respond effectively in emergencies, potentially saving lives and preventing further injury. By knowing how to provide basic first aid, you can provide immediate assistance until professional help arrives. In emergencies, bystanders are often the first on the scene. By increasing first aid awareness in communities, the overall safety and well-being of society can be enhanced.
Please note that this is not a first aid qualification. If you need a professional first aid qualification or want to be a first aider for your workplace, then you will need to take a 3-Day First Aid at Work course.
