Covid-19 Pharmacy Delivery Service

Following a request by Welsh Government, St John Ambulance Cymru volunteers are responding to support delivery of prescriptions to people who were shielding or unable to collect their medication due to Covid-19.

Our volunteers made themselves available across Wales, and are working with pharmacies in their local communities to respond to prescription delivery requests, collecting prescriptions, and delivering critical medication to patients in their homes.

The service is run through a specially designed mobile app, where our volunteers are matched to people and pharmacies in their communities.
