From the North: Take M6 South. Merge onto M54 towards Telford/Shrewsbury. Continue on A5 to Shrewsbury. Take A458 towards Welshpool. Turn left onto A483 to Newtown. Take A470 South to Rhayader.
From the South: Take A470 North through Merthyr Tydfil, Brecon, and Builth Wells to Rhayader.
From the East: Take A456 West to Kidderminster and Leominster. Take A44 West to Kington. Join A470 North to Rhayader.
